I'm sitting here reading other blogs about Honduras when I realized that my blog...to everything there is a season...goes right along with an awesome event that took place at church this weekend. Sooooo....I decided it would be a good time to blog ... I haven't blogged since returning from Honduras even though I think of Honduras often and long to go back there someday when God's timing permits me to serve Him there. But as usual...I digress......so.....

Four Seasons Ladies' Tea at Akron Baptist Temple!!!! What an event!

I don't really know where to begin except to say Verlin McCulley a very, dear friend of mine for the past 25 plus years has a heart for tea sets. We had had teas at church but the last one had been cancelled leaving a void for Verlin. Sooooo Team Verlin Vicky was formed. We mentioned it to our Pastor's wife, Kathy and we were off. When the date was determined we were trying to figure out a way to incorporate all of Verlin's tea sets with a theme of some kind.

Well...at our first meeting...Verlin came up with the Four Seasons. The Four Seasons of the life of a woman...what a great theme!!! And of course Ecclesiates 3 was the obvious Bible reference for the event. The Byrds song...Turn Turn Turn was the song of choice. It just all fell into place so quickly....so...as one can see from the title of my blog....

God is so good to show us that truly....to everything there is a season.....even if it's a Ladies' Tea.
